Philly is fighting the national early literacy crisis like only we can: with collaboration, grit, and a whole lot of heart. Hundreds of families, community organizations, and systems leaders have banded together to ensure our children become the strong readers they deserve to be.

Building good habits with great fun!

Fighting boredom is one of the best parts of my job. I get to design giveaways that help families raise readers. An all-time favorite has been the Reading Promise album. We partnered with local children’s band City Love to write music that emphasizes the joy of reading and helps children practice letter sounds through song.

CONCEPT | COPYWRITING

A story worth sharing.

As a literacy campaign, it’s fitting that storytelling is a strategy we take seriously. Documenting the movement helps us build community and momentum. Fighting for any social cause can be hard. But hearing about an inspiring project or seeing impact through a picture helps keep our fires lit.
